I never thought that I would see a more complex lego city than Lego Venice but a Hong Kong Lego users group has painstakingly reproduced the 2008 Beijing Olympic summer games complex.
The group used over 300,000 Lego bricks and 4,500 Lego people to create the gigantic display. The stunningly crafted miniature panorama measures 10ft by 26ft and features famous venues including the “Birds’ Nest” Stadium and the “Water Cube” swimming centre. The one thing I could never locate in the lego masterpiece though were the police detaining and arresting protesters…
