More media censorship, this time on the economy…

Friday, December 5th, 2008

The U.S. corporate controlled media is at it again. This time they inexplicably cut off Peter Schiff, the president of Euro Pacific Capital Inc., when he was going on a rant lambasting the U.S. government and the Federal Reserve squarely blaming them for all of the world’s financial woes.

This is THE same Peter Schiff that predicted this collapse over two years ago! He was labeled as a loon over his comments but he hit the nail right on the head. He was asked by U.S. News and world report the following “So how bad do you think this economy will get? “, he replied:

The other problem we’ll have during those years is civil [unrest]. There will be a big increase in crime. People are going to be hungry. People are going to be cold. There’s a sense of entitlement in this country, and when a lot of people used to having things suddenly don’t, everybody looks for someone to blame.

He then went on the FOX Business channel and predicted that Gold will skyrocket to over $5,000 dollars an ounce! To provide a barometer, Gold is currently trading at around $750.00 dollars an ounce.

I have a feeling he won’t be invited to too many more broadcasts in the future…

The ultimate Star Wars geek wedding

Monday, December 1st, 2008

Found this on Bored-bored.com. Its a photographic journey through the ultimate star wars geek wedding. Looks like Admiral Calamari is marrying a carol burnett lookalike. I’m not nearly a big enough star wars geek to identify all the the attendees.

My only question is “Where the hell is Lando Calrissian“? The party don’t start until he walks up into ceremony with his silky cloak!!

You want some “Truth”?

Check out the funky fresh moves from the holy hip hop B-boy (and B-girl) crew from “The way international“. From the synchronized urban dance moves to the improvised dance circle, this juxtaposed trio is a entertainment powerhouse. The only thing that could have made this better is towards the end of the performance, Jesus breaks out and starts doing the caterpillar across the stage which eventually transitions into our savior busting out the “helicopter spin” in a climactic finish with pyrotechnics and stage fog.

They should contact me for their next performance, I would so hook them up with great ideas…

Great desktop wallpaper site

Monday, December 1st, 2008

If you’re looking for a spam/pay free site for high resolution wallpapers for your desk/laptop check out interfacelift.com.

Its mostly landscapes and some good HDR shots. Theres a few graphic desings in there but its a good change of pace for the desktop. There is also access to free themes and Icons for your desktop as well. I was impressed with the image quality and the ability to select multiple resolutions for download. Some really nice images collected here.
