The birth of Christio-facism?

Monday, September 15th, 2008

Sarah Palin and her church in Wasilla, Alaska scares the the living daylights out of me! Evidentaly, the church Palin is a member of is a huge proponent of the “third wave”. What is third wave? Read this excerpt from the Christian pwnage site:

Sarah Palin’s churches are actively involved in a resurgent movement that was declared heretical by the Assemblies of God in 1949. This is the same ‘Spiritual Warfare’ movement that was featured in the award winning movie, “Jesus Camp,” which showed young children being trained to do battle for the Lord. At least three of four of Palin’s churches are involved with major organizations and leaders of this movement, which is referred to as The Third Wave of the Holy Spirit or the New Apostolic Reformation. The movement is training a young “Joel’s Army” to take dominion over the United States and the world.

Recently a documentary was posted on youtube but was banned from the site. No word from the site as to why, just that the video “violated the terms of service”. Luckily, I managed to locate a copy of the video on an alternative site.

I am all for religious freedom and worshipping who you see fit but wow, just wow. This looks like the christian version of radical Islamists. I think these people should be under the watch of federal authorities as a cult or a possible terrorist organization.

Sarah Palin fails in a focus group on C-SPAN

Sunday, September 7th, 2008

This is an interesting video posted on Youtube about a focus group consisting of long time republican voter reactions after Sarah Palin’s announcement as the republican Vice Presidential running mate by John McCain.

The results by the voters? She failed miserably…

The voters were asked one by one to use a phrase to describe the choosing of Sarah Palin as the republican Vice presidential nominee. Some of the responses varied from “a breath of fresh air” and “good looking” to “dangerous”, a “huge mistake” and one particular voter even stated:

Senator McCain is 73 years old and he will be 76 years old by the end of his first term. If something were to happen to him in the first fours years… would I want this woman in the white house in a cold war with Russia? I don’t think so.

Several of the voters stated that they had no choice but to switch their vote to Obama!!!
