<p>Google has released <a href="http://www.lively.com/html/landing.html" target="_blank">Lively</a>, a virtual space which allows google account users to create and <a href="http://www.lively.com/rl" target="_blank">customize chat rooms</a> and invite friends over for virtual gatherings. Currently only Firefox and IE are supported browsers. Its a free download but from early reports, the performance is slooow. This seems to be Google&#8217;s attempt at <a href="http://secondlife.com/" target="_blank">Second life</a> (even though it sounds like its more akin to Sony&#8217;s <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_Home" target="_blank">Home</a>- if it ever comes out!). <a href="http://www.lively.com/html/landing.html" target="_blank"></a></p>
