What you gonna do when God runs wild all over youuuuu!!!

Introducing Todd Bentley, the World Heavyweight champion of professional evangelicalism. Mr. Bentley evidently is a brutal sex offender, an adulterer and and hes started a new organization called “Joel’s army”, which trains believers to “take ground for the Kingdom of God under the authority of Jesus Christ.”

Anyways, now that your filled in on this illustrious Christian’s past, in this youtube video, Bentley details his violent methods of saving churchgoers including kicking an old lady in the face with a combat boot, knocking out people’s teeth, MMA ground and pound attacks where the “healee” gets choked out and the last maneuver he describes, well… the title of this post is a hint.

The Instruction Manual on life

Sunday, January 11th, 2009

I was wandering around the web just looking at random content when I stumbled upon this amazing animated short posted on youtube. Its a poignant and epiphanous view of religions and beliefs. I felt absolutely compelled to post this movie. If you have 5 minutes, please watch this little video.

The short looks like it was created by the Youtube user QualiaSoup. Send this guy a comment if you like it.

You want some “Truth”?

Check out the funky fresh moves from the holy hip hop B-boy (and B-girl) crew from “The way international“. From the synchronized urban dance moves to the improvised dance circle, this juxtaposed trio is a entertainment powerhouse. The only thing that could have made this better is towards the end of the performance, Jesus breaks out and starts doing the caterpillar across the stage which eventually transitions into our savior busting out the “helicopter spin” in a climactic finish with pyrotechnics and stage fog.

They should contact me for their next performance, I would so hook them up with great ideas…

The birth of Christio-facism?

Monday, September 15th, 2008

Sarah Palin and her church in Wasilla, Alaska scares the the living daylights out of me! Evidentaly, the church Palin is a member of is a huge proponent of the “third wave”. What is third wave? Read this excerpt from the Christian pwnage site:

Sarah Palin’s churches are actively involved in a resurgent movement that was declared heretical by the Assemblies of God in 1949. This is the same ‘Spiritual Warfare’ movement that was featured in the award winning movie, “Jesus Camp,” which showed young children being trained to do battle for the Lord. At least three of four of Palin’s churches are involved with major organizations and leaders of this movement, which is referred to as The Third Wave of the Holy Spirit or the New Apostolic Reformation. The movement is training a young “Joel’s Army” to take dominion over the United States and the world.

Recently a documentary was posted on youtube but was banned from the site. No word from the site as to why, just that the video “violated the terms of service”. Luckily, I managed to locate a copy of the video on an alternative site.

Sarah Palin’s Churches and The Third Wave from Bruce Wilson on Vimeo.

I am all for religious freedom and worshipping who you see fit but wow, just wow. This looks like the christian version of radical Islamists. I think these people should be under the watch of federal authorities as a cult or a possible terrorist organization.

Are you ready to ROCK!?

Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008

What could be better than supporting the Lord AND Rock and roll?

Enter GUITAR PRAISE! Rock with the Lord! Digital Praise is now offering pre orders of the new blockbuster PC only game based on the popular Guitar Hero and Rock Band franchises. Rock out with such Christian hits like Love Addict from Family Force 5, The Flame in All of Us by Thousand Foot Krutch and many many others. No Stryper though for the old school holy rock fans (let us pray for 90s edition).

From the website:

Grab the guitar and play along with top Christian bands! Shred those riffs or blast the bass…you add a unique sound to the solid Christian rock. But watch out: if you can’t keep up, the artists will take a break and stop the music. Crank it up and try again-you’ll soon be rockin’ with the best while praising the Lord!

If the guitar thing isn’t your bag, you can always order the company’s best selling Dance Praise or better yet, Dance Praise 2-The remix!
