Roger Huerta – Roger Huerta fights Guy in Austin Streets for hitting a Girl

I was browsing some MMA news sites recently and watched a movie of UFC lightweight fighter Roger Huerta laying down some serious pain to some thug who knocked out a seemingly innocent girl on 6th Street in Austin. Roger can be seen saying “Hey you just knocked out a f**king girl”. He then goes off and curb stomps this punk into the pavement. The thug in question probably had about 100-150 pounds on Roger.

Some people on the internet chastised mr. Huerta by saying violence begets violence but those are the very same people that would probably stand by and watch while someone got murdered or walk past a dying person on the sidewalk without stopping to see if they were ok. In an age of indifference and cowardice, its great to see a man rise up and act.

Roger was asked about this incident and he said the following to TMZ.com:

Huerta tells us, “I approached the man calmly and said, “Do you know what you just did? You just knocked out this girl.”

But Huerta claims the other guy responded, “F*ck you, f*ck these bitches, I’ll knock out any f*ckin’ bitch that I wanna f*ckin’ knock out, I’ll knock your f*cking bitch ass out.”

Huerta added, “… and as he’s saying this, he’s taking off his shirt … and at that point I was like, alright.’”

Huerta insists that he didn’t throw the first punch — and only reacted when the other guy “started swinging at me” … and we all know what happened next.

“I got the better of him and I left,” Huerta said.

The 27-year-old explained, “If that was my mom, if that was my sister, my spouse, anyone … I would’ve wanted someone to step in and do something about it.”

In addition, Dana White, the president of the UFC was quoted as saying:

“In no way do I condone street fighting, but when a guy puts his hands on a woman he deserves to be knocked the f*ck out. Good for Roger.”
