Roger Huerta – Roger Huerta fights Guy in Austin Streets for hitting a Girl

I was browsing some MMA news sites recently and watched a movie of UFC lightweight fighter Roger Huerta laying down some serious pain to some thug who knocked out a seemingly innocent girl on 6th Street in Austin. Roger can be seen saying “Hey you just knocked out a f**king girl”. He then goes off and curb stomps this punk into the pavement. The thug in question probably had about 100-150 pounds on Roger.

Some people on the internet chastised mr. Huerta by saying violence begets violence but those are the very same people that would probably stand by and watch while someone got murdered or walk past a dying person on the sidewalk without stopping to see if they were ok. In an age of indifference and cowardice, its great to see a man rise up and act.

Roger was asked about this incident and he said the following to TMZ.com:

Huerta tells us, “I approached the man calmly and said, “Do you know what you just did? You just knocked out this girl.”

But Huerta claims the other guy responded, “F*ck you, f*ck these bitches, I’ll knock out any f*ckin’ bitch that I wanna f*ckin’ knock out, I’ll knock your f*cking bitch ass out.”

Huerta added, “… and as he’s saying this, he’s taking off his shirt … and at that point I was like, alright.’”

Huerta insists that he didn’t throw the first punch — and only reacted when the other guy “started swinging at me” … and we all know what happened next.

“I got the better of him and I left,” Huerta said.

The 27-year-old explained, “If that was my mom, if that was my sister, my spouse, anyone … I would’ve wanted someone to step in and do something about it.”

In addition, Dana White, the president of the UFC was quoted as saying:

“In no way do I condone street fighting, but when a guy puts his hands on a woman he deserves to be knocked the f*ck out. Good for Roger.”

Austin news has since covered this story. Man I love this town!

Latest news, there are currently 16 members of congress under investigation by various federal and state agencies.
I have sat back quietly and watched “Mr. Change” Barack Obama and its time to speak out. I think I have given Mr. Obama the benefit of the doubt and now its time to comment.

Despite his initial speech to the world promising a new era of “Transparency” and open government, he has gone back on almost every single one of his promises and stances in his first 100 days in office. Its time to record some of this “Change” he has promised us.

Before you try to slam me or make assumptions about this post or this blog, go back into the archives and check out some of the criticism I’ve leveled at our last great president and his shining administration. At this point its not the false “right vs. left” argument thats distracting most of the people in this country, its really and issue of the Federal government vs. the American people.

So without further ado, lets see how the latest presidential administration is handling the new “Change” they been touting since last year. This latest report is brought to you by Rawstory.com.

According to Michael Isikoff on the Rachael Maddow show detailed a “secret meeting” between Obama and his closest officials and select members of Civil rights groups and the press. From the article:

The meeting was off the record, but MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow reported that Obama was “demonstrably not pleased” when told that he was “allowing President Bush’s policies to become his own.” Obama also “curtly” dismissed any suggestion of a truth commission or even a single symbolic torture prosecution.

At the same time, probably one of the least effective Congress’s in the history of our government voted 90-6 to pull any funding regarding the closure of the U.S. run Guantanamo Bay gulag. Not only do we have a president that continues to carry on W’s policies, we have a more than ever complicit Congress just following along.

I dont know if this is the “change” I’ve been looking for…

First, watch this video of a man being interviewed at the recently held Republican National Convention. This genius’s name is Gabriel Schwartz, a single attorney and a republican delegate out of Colorado. When asked what he believes is the “change” the republicans are brining to the 2008 general election, he responds with “Less taxes and more WAR!”. Oh it only gets better from there. Watch the movie below:

Why did I request that you sit through that deplorable clip? For good reason my friends… because this is an amazing and cautionary tale about young republican asshat attorneys with too much money and the troubles they find themselves in.

According to the Pioneer press, the St. Paul paper, our good friend Gabriel was drugged and robbed by a beautiful lady thief. Sounds like this lucky lady hit the jackpot on this guy. Lets hope she’s out on the beach in the carribean sipping mai tias laughing about the heist. According to the article:

The theft occurred early on Sept. 4, hours after Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin gave her speech accepting her party’s vice presidential nomination. A police report said Schwartz told officers he met a woman at the bar and took her to his $319-a-night room.

“Victim reported suspect made victim drinks, told him to get undressed, which is the last thing he remembers,” a police narrative said. “Upon waking, victim discovered money, jewelry gone; total loss over $120K.”

A police report notes the crime occurred between 4:22 and 5:46 a.m., and Palmer said investigators believe Schwartz was drugged, although he declined to discuss details.

Aside from the watch, ring, necklace, earrings and belt, Schwartz also reported a $1,000 purse or wallet, a $1,500 cell phone, $500 in cash and a couple of rings worth $50 had been taken.

When “Gabe” was reached by phone he said he “couldn’t comment on it now”. The moral of this story kids? Asshat warmongers end up being the biggest losers of all.

.
