This is a super awesome post from Frederic Sebton in which he took his old powerbook with MAME loaded on it, a cabinet from IKEA and a namco arcade joystick and assembled one of the coolest arcade cabinets around.

Some mysterious company out of Germany named OIOO is releasing a nintendo Wii his and hers dildo attachment set to release on 09/09/08. Mark your calendars everyone! Evidentaly, they are looking for a man and a woman for a commercial for this peripheral as well! Oh the wonders of technology!
Google enters the virtual ‘space’

Google has released Lively, a virtual space which allows google account users to create and customize chat rooms and invite friends over for virtual gatherings. Currently only Firefox and IE are supported browsers. Its a free download but from early reports, the performance is slooow. This seems to be Google’s attempt at Second life (even though it sounds like its more akin to Sony’s Home- if it ever comes out!).

Looks like more RRODs from the Xbox 360 family of consoles, this time its the 360 Elite. It would be nice to see the failure rates for the Xbox 360 but I don’t see Microsoft releasing them anytime soon. It will be interesting to see how Microsoft’s PR machine responds to this accusation.
